Frequently Asked Questions
Who are the materials intended for?
For professionals and students in medicine, psychology and nursing. The materials assume professional knowledge and are not patient information.
Can I view the content before buying?
Yes. Every product page has a magnifier view: move the pointer over the chart and read the area in question in reading quality. There are also detail images and a short video that moves across the content areas.
Why is the preview blurred?
The preview is reduced in resolution. It is sufficient to read and assess everything, but does not match the print quality of the original.
Where does the content come from?
From current classifications, guidelines and prescribing information, condensed and newly typeset for the overview. The version number and date are printed on every edition. These are independent teaching materials, not official publications.
How up to date is the content?
Every edition carries a version and date. A new edition is published when there are significant changes to the classification or approval status. We do not inform you automatically — sign up below if you would like to hear about it.
Do I get a discount if I order several copies?
Yes, automatically. The discount depends on the total number of copies in the cart, regardless of which edition you choose — posters and pocket guides count together:
from 2 copies 5 %
from 3 copies 10 %
from 4 copies 15 %
Four different editions give the same discount as four identical ones. For bulk orders of ten copies or more, please use the form under Bulk orders.
How much does shipping cost?
Nothing. We deliver free of charge to Switzerland and Liechtenstein, with no minimum order value.
How long does delivery take?
We produce to order. Production takes about two working days, delivery a further two to five — about four to seven working days in total. All times are approximate.
Where are the products made?
Through a network of print partners, choosing the nearest possible production site. Depending on capacity and material this may also be a site outside Switzerland. Details are given in the shipping policy.
How is the parcel shipped?
Posters in a sturdy cardboard tube, pocket guides in a flat shipping envelope with a cardboard insert.
What paper is used?
Posters: semi-gloss paper, 170 g/m², FSC-certified or equivalent. The semi-gloss surface reproduces the colour coding vividly. Under direct ceiling light it may reflect — a position outside the line of light or a frame with anti-reflective glass helps.
Pocket guides: 170 g/m² silk-matt coated paper with a high-gloss coated cover.
Do I need a frame?
No, the poster works without one. In busy rooms a frame considerably extends its life; an A1 frame with anti-reflective glass is the most durable solution.
May I put the poster up in my hospital?
Yes. The purchase entitles you to display it in your own practice, hospital and teaching rooms. For use in teaching courses, on an intranet or at several locations there is an institutional licence.
May I scan or copy the content?
No. Reproduction, digitisation and sharing as a file are not permitted. If you need several copies, a bulk order is cheaper than you might think.
Is the content also available as a PDF?
No. The value of these materials lies precisely in hanging on the wall or sitting in a pocket rather than lying in a folder.
Is the content available in a smaller format?
Yes. For every poster there is an A6 pocket guide with the same content, newly typeset for the lab-coat pocket — ring-bound and opens flat.
Can our hospital or practice logo be printed?
Yes, for larger quantities, with a proof before production. Please use the enquiry form under Bulk orders.
Which payment methods are available?
The shop offers the usual payment methods. For hospitals, universities and public institutions we consider other payment options case by case — please enquire via the form under Bulk orders.
Will further titles be published?
The series will continue. If you are missing a topic, write to us — suggestions from practice feed into the planning.
